Welcome to the 2011 Fair

On behalf of the Directors and Associates, WELCOME to the new website of the Permian Basin Fair & Exposition! Over 70 Directors and Associates and over 500 volunteers work year round to bring the finest of family entertainment to the citizens of the Permian Basin. Please peruse our website and see what all is in store for you.

We have something for everyone in the family – Texas country music, stunt shows, professional BMX performers, Oil Burner’s antique cars, animal acts, livestock shows, arena events, dog agility, carnival, rig welder rodeo, creative arts, contests, vendors, lumberjacks, cowboy fast draw demonstrations, roller derby, and much, much more.

Citizens from 42 counties in Texas, 4 other states, and 3 foreign countries participated in last year’s fair. According to the Convention and Visitors Bureau, it is the largest annual event held in our city. In addition to promoting Odessa with a strong economic impact and providing you and those from other areas with outstanding family entertainment, featuring performers from all over the world, and local citizens showcasing the talent from right here in the Permian Basin, the Permian Basin Fair Scholarship Board will award over $35,000 in scholarships to area youth. This year is our 36 year and, during that time, we have awarded well over three-quarters of a million dollars in scholarships to our youth.
