Welcome to the 2012 Permian Basin Fair & Exposition
On behalf of the Directors and Associate Directors, welcome to the website of the 37th Permian Basin Fair & Exposition! Over 70 Directors and Associate Directors and well over 500 volunteers work year-round to bring the finest of family entertainment to the citizens of the Permian Basin. Please spend some time visiting the different areas of our website and see what we have in store for YOU in 2012.
Citizens from 42 counties in Texas, 4 other states, and 3 foreign countries participated in last year’s fair. According to the Convention and Visitors Bureau, we are the largest annual event held in Odessa. The Permian Basin Fair Scholarship Board will award over $35,000 in scholarships to area youth at the 2012 fair, bringing total scholarships awarded since our inception to well over three quarters of a million dollars!
We have something for EVERYONE in the family — Texas Country Music, antique cars, commercial vendors, creative arts, livestock shows, arena events, strolling entertainment, pig races, petting zoo, pony rides, comedy cooking show, carnival, outdoor circus, NASCAR Experience, animal shows, rig welder rodeo, dog agility, local music, talent show, scholarship pageant, and much, much more. New to the fair this year will be a VIP upgrade area near our main music stage. YOU will even have the opportunity to walk on water in an aqua ball.
